In July 2018, our company reached a project cooperation with the Chengjiang County Water Resources Bureau of Yunnan Province. The cooperation included the construction of 17 image recognition water level stations! It has been completed and the results are as follows!
Why build an image recognition water level station?
Image recognition water level monitoring system uses Internet + as the core concept and artificial intelligence as the core technology to mine and optimize the resources of existing video image monitoring stations, and expand the function of video image stations without affecting the operation of the original video surveillance system. Using video surveillance system resources to re-excavate, construct image recognition water level monitoring system, increase water level monitoring coverage and density, enrich water level monitoring information; image + data mutual information verification, guarantee the accuracy of traditional monitoring method data; deep mining existing video Image station resources to avoid duplication of construction.
Using the image recognition water level monitoring system, each image monitoring station can be assigned to the function of the automatic water level station, and the water level data can be acquired in real time while monitoring the image. In water conservancy projects such as rivers and water conservancy projects, the water level identification data of the image recognition water level monitoring system can be used as the verification and backup data of the automatic water level station. In the urban road water monitoring, the existing video station is used to upgrade and increase the inland water level monitoring function, without increasing the hardware resource input cost.
The water level image recognition system is mainly composed of a video monitoring station, a simple water gauge and an image processing software. Among them, the video monitoring station utilizes the established results, and the simple water gauge needs to be newly installed. The image processing software of each site performs algorithm configuration according to the water gauge installation conditions (inclination, light, etc.) and image shooting conditions of each site.
